Do you have a family member that has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s?

Sadly, research has shown that genetic mutations can be inherited from a parent and have been linked to early on-set familial Alzheimer’s disease.  Greater strides are being made each day for a cure, but in the meantime…

Have you considered what your plan will be if you are affected by this disease?

Who will provide care?

How will you pay for care?

Do you have your legal affairs in order?

Now, is the time to take a practical view of the future and study your options.

If you have not considered long-term care insurance – you may want to examine it further.  Oftentimes, this type of insurance can be a much-needed relief to family members.  Yes, our families will take care of us when we need care but this will be a 24 hour – 7 day a week job.  Why not consider a policy that will pay for some of that care?  Then, your loved ones can focus on care-managing rather than care-giving.

Please contact us to discuss your options.

Sincerely,

John F. King, CLTC
