We enjoy bringing educational materials to our clients…especially when the content did not come from us!  Why?  Because we earn a living by educating others on the importance of planning for their extended healthcare needs, so we have a natural bias towards clients enrolling in an LTCi plan.  We would probably do this if money were not an issue…but it is an issue if we want to keep the lights on!

So, we try to bring you information that didn’t come from us.  Not that we are without interesting things to say on the topic, but as mentioned before…we are biased!

Along those lines, we have scoured the zeitgeist and will be presenting a series of informative articles and infographics which were prepared by experts who are not paid to tell you how important LTCi plans are!

The first is from the Society of Actuaries.  You may not be familiar with this professional organization, but allow me to introduce you to their mission and vision directly from their website:

About The SOA
With roots dating back to 1889, the Society of Actuaries (SOA) is the world’s largest actuarial professional organization with more than 30,000 actuaries as members.

Our Mission
Through education and research, the SOA advances actuaries as leaders in measuring and managing risk to improve financial outcomes for individuals, organizations, and the public.

Our Vision
Actuaries are highly sought-after professionals who develop and communicate solutions for complex financial issues.

So, when you take a look at this booklet prepared by the SOA, understand that it did not come from us (your friendly LTCi-planning specialists) this came from an organization of risk management experts who have devoted their professional lives to helping others improve their financial outcomes by planning for complex financial issues.  After you have a chance to review…call or email us with any questions you might have.  We have devoted our professional lives to helping others plan for and mitigate risk associated with an extended healthcare need.

Kind Regards,

John
