This morning: the Today Show 3rd Hour hosts introduced a segment about an article that Rob Lowe had recently published in USA Today. You can read that article here. Rob’s story is compelling as he talks about being his mother’s caregiver when he was in his 30’s. The Today Show hosts then went on to share their own personal experiences with the extended healthcare (long-term care) of their own families. As an LTCi specialist I’ve heard these kinds of stories time and again over the last 2 decades, but then Carson Daly said he believes that his mother’s death was the result of providing care for his dad.
